The Law Enforcement News Network – LENN Debuts “The Blue”

by Ryan MasonNovember 17, 2020

Monday, November 16th, 2020 marked a milestone for LENN with the debut of a new show titled “The Blue,” a show dedicated to a law enforcement view of current events and the week’s news in review.

The inaugural show went out live to all LENN social media platforms last night to an ever-growing fan base, interested in an objective look at the issues that law enforcement officers are facing, starting the show with a look at what a Joe Biden/Kamala Harris presidency looks like for law enforcement officers in the United States.

The show, hosted and moderated by media juggernaut Jen Kerns, who also hosts her show One America Radio, broadcast across America by the Cumulus Radio Network then touched on the Million MAGA march in Washington D.C. and the violence that quickly spread around the greater D.C. area as crowds began to disburse.

Co-hosts Randy Sutton and Ryan Mason taking ANTIFA to task about their predatory tactics and their immediate need for police protection once counter-protestor group the Proud Boys arrived on the scene.

The group then moved on to current events happening around the United States, touching on the tragic loss of Sergeant Sean Rios from the Houston Police Department, who was killed while on his way to work this week, intervening in a drug deal gone bad that cost Rios his life.

The team talked about the decline in support by the administration for officers from the Houston Police Department in this, their fourth line of duty death in the last year.

One of the many polarizing police action shootings this year was that of the case involving Dresjon Reed in Indianapolis and the misinformation spread about the shooting that was live-streamed by Reed during the pursuit, foot chase, and eventual confrontation that cost Reed his life.

The Blue panel discussed the civil unrest in Indianapolis following the incident and the misinformation that followed being dispelled by solid investigative work and a grand jury process that ultimately led to no charges being filed in the case after evidence showed that Reed had indeed fired at the officer and the offer had returned fire in self-defense, killing Reed.

Join the panel from The Blue again next week when we again delve into the issues that matter to you.
