I never thought I would have to write this article, but the last week has shown me that we are in dire times. Our politicians love pitting the police against the public and our officers will be put in awkward positions. This article is not for non Law Enforcement Officers (LEO’s). If you are a citizen reading this, our officers need your support. Read away. LIVINGSTON PARISH, La – A Louisiana State Police trooper is lucky to be alive after a rear-end collision ended in a fireball seen from miles away early Friday morning.
The Louisiana State Police stated that the crash occurred at 4:30 am Friday morning as the troopers marked Chevy Tahoe was parked on the shoulder of I-12 Eastbound near the Colyell/Satsuma exit with his emergency lights activated. A tanker truck rear-ended the trooper’s vehicle, destroying it and causing injuries to both the trooper and the tanker driver in the crash.

CRESTWOOD, IL – An officer was injured Saturday evening in an accident when another vehicle crashed into the Crestwood Police officer’s vehicle which was stationary, throwing the officer to the ground.
Officers were on the scene of a vehicle collision on Cicero Avenue at 6:40 pm when the incident occurred.
In a statement posted to the department’s Facebook page, the Crestwood Police stated that two officers driving fully marked police cars were on the scene for the accident investigation and were blocking the curb lane of traffic with all of their emergency lights activated.
