Two Pennsylvania Deputies Under Investigation for Eating Inside Restaurant During Lockdown

Allegheny County, PA – Two deputies in Allegheny County have reportedly been removed from the road and reassigned to different positions as punishment for eating in a restaurant on Saturday.

The Crack’d Egg restaurant in Brentwood is remaining open despite lockdown restrictions put in place Thursday by Governor Tom Wolf. Apparently, two deputies who were audacious enough to eat in the restaurant during their shift posed with restaurant owner Kimberly Waigand for a picture during their meal.

Chief Deputy Kevin Kraus has assured the public that the rogue deputies are being investigated.

“Steer Clear” Becomes “Slow Down Move Over” Law in PA

Harrisburg, PA – SB1281, Act 105, Pennsylvania’s Steer Clear Law has changed. While the Pennsylvania government has still left it as a summary offense, the name and the penalties have been increased for violations of the Move Over law. Section 3327 (a) of the revised traffic law, under A (1), is assessed now for great bodily injury and death. This was overlooked in the original legislation, causing the inability to charge a subject for higher fines as the result of a collision.
