Eugene, OR – More information has been released in relation to an officer involved shooting from November 30 in Eugene. Muhsin Sharif, a 26-year-old black man, was shot by police responding to a domestic violence incident in an alley in the Whiteaker neighborhood after he threatened and charged an officer with a knife.

Sharif was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot twice, but is on the path to recovery.
