DeKalb County, GA – DeKalb County Police Sergeant Daniel Mobley was killed Saturday around 9am while responding to assist another officer involved in a collision.
Sergeant Mobley was getting out of his patrol vehicle on the Downtown Connector to conduct a “supervisory investigation” of the other DeKalb County officer’s collision when he was struck by another vehicle. Mobley was taken to the hospital, where he was declared deceased.
The other officer involved in the initial collision, who was off duty at the time, wasn’t injured, but he was understandably upset over what happened to Sergeant Mobley.

Atlanta, GA – As the runoff election for two Senate seats plays out in Georgia, some in law enforcement have opened up and spoken to reporters regarding their stance on the possibility of Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock winning seats.
Outside of the State Capitol, Gwinett Sheriff Butch Conway said the reelections of David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, both Republican incumbents, was absolutely crucial to law enforcement.
