Repeat Offender and Parolee Responsible for Killing Two Women on NYE; SF DA Boudin Says ‘System Failure’

San Francisco, CA – On New Year’s Eve, 27-year-old Hanako (Hana) Abe and another woman, identified as 60-year-old Elizabeth Platt, were killed while crossing the street in San Francisco’s South of Market district, at Second and Market Streets.

SFPD officers said the women were struck by a parolee driving a stolen car. Reportedly, 45-year-old Troy McAllister, who was on parole for robbery, was speeding and ran a red light, struck another vehicle and and then lost control of the vehicle he was driving, which slammed into the two women and killed them. Abe’s family said that the two women didn’t know each other.

McAllister fled the scene but was [...]

Bay Area Drug Ring Busted; Eight Arrests and 10 Pounds of Fentanyl Seized

San Francisco, CA – Multiple arrests were made last week in connection to a drug ring out of Oakland, which was said by authorities to have created a public health emergency in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District.

A multi-agency effort resulted in the end of this particular drug ring, providing fentanyl, heroin, and other drugs to dealers and individuals alike. U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California David Anderson said that charges have been brought against seven people who allegedly commuted from their Oakland residents to deliver the drugs to the Tenderloin between July and December of this year.

The public health emergency was declared due [...]

San Francisco DA Charging Yet Another Officer for Crimes During Course of Duty; Third SFPD Officer Charged in Less Than a Month

San Francisco, CA – Another officer has been charged with a crime in relation to his actions on duty in San Francisco this week.

District Attorney Chesa Boudin announced on Monday that San Francisco Police Department Officer Terrance Stangel is looking at felony charges for an October 2019 incident where the officer allegedly used “excessive and unlawful force” during an interaction with 32-year-old Dacari Spiers.

Boudin’s release said that Officers Stangel and Cuahtemoc Martinez responded to the Fisherman’s Wharf after receiving a 911 call of a man assaulting a woman, including by strangulation. When officers arrived, they met Spiers and his [...]

SF District Attorney Background May be Contributing Factor to Two Indicted Officers in the Last Two Weeks

San Francisco, CA – Over the last two weeks, two rookie SFPD officers have been indicted, largely in part to the legal schemes of newly-elected District Attorney Chesa Boudin. This is the first time in years SFPD officers have faced charges, and there’s a good explanation for that: Simply put, DA Boudin is the product of a parental upbringing that ingrained in him a hatred of the police.

Both of Boudin’s parents did prison time in connection with the murders of two police officers and a security guard while members of the Weather Underground, an organization labeled by the FBI as a terrorist group due to their bombings of federal buildings and attacks on law [...]
