Ann Arbor, MI – Sunday night, Black Lives Matter’s ‘protesters’ marched through the streets on the 6th anniversary of the 2014 fatal shooting of Aura Rosser.On November 9th 2014, Ann Arbor Police responded to a 911 call which resulted in a fatal officer involved shooting of Aura Rosser, a 40-year old Black woman. Rosser was armed with a knife, threatening officers and continued to move towards them after refusing commands to drop the knife.

The investigation into the incident concluded that the shooting was a justifiable homicide and the officer acted in lawful self-defense.
