Avon Park, FL – The third suspect has been arrested in an incident that left a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation officer beaten and run over by an ATV.
On Sunday, Michel Amalfi and Lazaro Milian were arrested for their role in the incident while the third person involved was at large. Now, the third suspect, Rodrigo Alberto Mato La Rosa, is in custody. La Rosa is 27 years old and from Hialeah. Police located him in South Florida after he attacked and assaulted a police officer, then was one of two men to run him over on a side-by-side ATV.
La Rosa faces a charge of attempted murder on a law enforcement officer as well as resisting arrest.

Avon Park, FL – The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is on the lookout for a suspect involved in an incident where one of their officers was run over with an ATV. There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to the unidentified suspect’s arrest.
The suspect is accused of attacking and assaulting the officer with another man (who has been captured), and being one of two men to run over the officer on a side-by-side SUV.
Captain Brooks of the FWC said, “He knows what he’s done and he needs to turn himself in. Whether he wants to turn himself in or you want to make $5,000 that’s up to him.”
