Sacramento Police Shoot And Kill Armed Suspect Who Fired Handgun At A Boxing Match
Sacramento, CA – A Sacramento police officer shot and killed a suspect who was pointing a gun at a group of people gathered to watch a boxing match on Saturday night.
Shortly before 8 pm Sacramento police responded to a call of reckless driving in an industrial area on the north side of the city. When officers arrived in the area they discovered multiple people gathered at a warehouse to watch a boxing match.
While in the process of investigating the incident multiple people came running out of the warehouse as officers could hear sounds of gunshots being fired.
When officers went inside the warehouse they discovered an individual pointing a gun at the crowd. Police shot the suspect who was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Police discovered a shooting victim inside the warehouse who was also transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries.

The incident is currently under investigation and Sacramento Police will release video and audio footage within 30 days.
