Two Officers, Suspect Shot Following Burglary Call

Kent, OH – Two officers were shot investigating a report of a burglary Sunday morning but are expected to make full recoveries. The suspect was also shot and injured.

Around 8am, a woman reported that a man was breaking into her house in the 1500 block of East Summit Street near Loop Road. When police arrived, the man was inside the home and, police say, he was armed.

Police said the officers were “physically engaged” with the man as soon as they entered the home. At some point during the contact, the man began firing at police, shooting two and leaving them with minor injuries.

Police Officers Attacked While Attempting to Re-Secure a Home With Lawful Eviction Notice in Portland

Portland, OR – Police in Portland were attacked this morning while attempting to re-serve a lawful order to evict squatters from a home in North Portland. The privately owned, abandoned house, located at 4406 N Mississippi Ave, has long been known to be a place where Antifa activists stay in between riots, and has been dubbed “The Red House on Mississippi.” The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), according to their update on Flash Alert, was tasked with taking back the house to “re-secure a home in which the occupants were previously ordered removed by court order,” and the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) responded to assist due to the large [...]

Atlanta Police Officer Involved in Off Duty Shooting

An unidentified officer from the Atlanta Police Department has been involved in a shooting overnight in downtown Atlanta.

The shooting occurred at 150 Pine St NE at an address allegedly housing UP Restaurant and Bar in downtown Atlanta at approximately 4 a.m. near the entrance to the club after a dispute began between a patron and a security guard.

The officer involved was not working at the club, instead, working an off-duty employment detail nearby when he responded after shots rang out.
