Bodycam Released In Utah Officer Involved Shooting
Ogden, Utah – On Monday the Weber County Attorney’s Office released video of an Ogden Police Officer involved shooting that occurred on October 27th.
Police responded to a 911 call from a social worker who said a man was threatening to kill himself and was armed with a shotgun. The case worker identified the man as 18-year-old Gavin Johansen.
When police arrived, the footage depicts Johansen advancing toward an officer while pointing what appears to be a handgun at her. The suspect is also holding a large kitchen knife. It was later determined the handgun was an airsoft gun.

The video is made up of both bodycam and home security footage.
Johansen survived his injuries and has been charged with aggravated assault against a peace officer, aggravated assault, and possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person.
No officers were injured.
Looks like she had no choice but to shoot him as a gun was aimed at her. …All Lives Matter!
