WA Police Officer Missing, Presumed Dead After Rogue Wave Capsizes Boat

Everett, WA. – The search continues for a 29-year-old Tulalip Police Department officer who fell into the water after a rogue wave capisized the boat he was on at around 9pm Tuesday. Police say he is presumed dead.

Two officers were using a Tulalip Police Department Fisheries patrol boat in an attempt to rescue a vessel near Jetty Island when a rogue wave capsized it, throwing both officers into the water.

The missing officer has been identified as 29-year-old Charlie Cortez, a three year department member.

Brevard Sheriff Releases Video Of Fatal Officer Shooting Of Two Teens

Cocoa, Florida – On Tuesday the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office released dash cam video of a fatal officer involved shooting of two teenage suspects last week in Cocoa.

The suspects have been identified as 18-year-old Sincere Pierce and 16-year-old Anthony Crooms.

On Friday at about 10:30 am, deputies were conducting a stolen car investigation in the area of Stetson Drive and Ivy Drive in Cocoa. Dash camera video shows two sheriff units following the suspect car.  The vehicle turns around in a driveway and is facing the deputies.

San Francisco Police Shoot Man With Knife

San Francisco, CA – San Francisco Police shot a man on Market Street in front of the Westfield Mall at around 5PM on Tuesday.

Officers were dispatched to the area regarding a large fight. When officers arrived, they engaged a man with a knife, said authorities.

Witness Ezra Ortiz told KPIX5 the man with the knife was acting strange and not following commands.

Maryland Officer Shot, Homicide Suspect Killed In Gun Battle

Prince George’s County, Maryland – A gun battle Tuesday afternoon between police and a wanted murder suspect in Florida has ended with an officer shot, and the suspect dead.

Montgomery County officers were attempting to arrest a suspect wanted for a Homicide in Jacksonville, Florida, when an officer was shot. The incident occurred at the Crestleigh Apartments on Muirkirk Road near Route 197 in the Laurel area.
