END OF WATCH: Leavenworth County Kansas. The Leavenworth County Sheriff has announced the Line of Duty Death of Deputy Corporal Daniel R. Abramovitz. Corporal Abramovitz was killed in a crash with a school bus at around 4pm October 30th near the town of Tonganoxie. The driver of the school bus had non-life threatening injuries and a child passenger had a slight injury. The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Sheriff Andrew Dedeke said that Corporal Abramovitz, age 60, had worked for the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office for 26 years and was most recently assigned to the Investigations Division where his focus was sex crimes and child sexual abuse [...]

A second city in America has now empowered the criminal element wreaking havoc across the nation by issuing what is essentially a written “white flag of surrender.” The first was the result of the City Council of Seattle’s interference with the Police Department resulting in a public notice from the Chief of Police Carmen Best when she informed the people of Seattle that officers had “no ability to intercede to preserve property amid a large violent crowd safely.”
