Southern California Sheriffs Say Their Deputies Won’t Enforce Governor Gavin Newsom’s New Stay-at-Home Order

Just one week after getting busted dining in an enclosed room without masks nor social distancing, Governor Gavin Newsom is already seeing real challenges to what he admitted was a loss to his “moral authority.”

Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes — who represents more than 3 million people in Southern California — stated that deputies in The O.C. won’t be making arrests nor responding to calls regarding violations of the governor’s orders. Barnes said his team will take an “education first” approach with citizens.

Officers Honored For Saving 4 Including 1 Man Run Over By Boat

Ipswich, Mass – To serve and protect.

It’s not just a slogan.

Two police officers in Ipswich have been awarded for going above and beyond their call of duty for rescuing a man following a boating accident. 

Ipswich police Lt. Jonathan Hubbard and officer Brian Murphy received commendation after the duo responded to a boating distress call last summer. The officers arrived to find four people in the water who had been thrown from a boat and found the watercraft circling the water, unmanned. The driver suffered life-threatening injuries after ultimately being run over by the boat.

Fairfax County Sees Three Shootings in 36 Hours

Police in Northern Virginia are investigating three shootings in 36 hours.

A juvenile boy was found dead in Springfield after a report of a shooting at a Motel 6.

Then another juvenile, a 17-year old, suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body in another part of the county, where an 18-year old at the house was reported to be cooperating with authorities.

Lastly, police were called to a gun range where two men suffered gunshot wounds in what was suspected to be a domestic disturbance. Both men were taken to the hospital where one man has life-threatening injuries.
