8 ARRESTED AS ‘PROTESTERS’ CLASH WITH THE DENVER POLICE
Denver, CO – Protesters clashed with Denver Police on Wednesday night as they wreaked havoc and chaos along Colfax Avenue downtown.
The protesters gathered around 5 pm near Capitol Hill carrying signs that said, “Whoever they vote for we are ungovernable” and “Death to the fascism and liberalism that enables it.”
There was a heavy police presence at Colfax and Washington as protesters set fire inside a dumpster and smashed windows of various businesses along Colfax Avenue.
The protesters chanted messages expressing their hatred for police, President Trump and Joe Biden
Shortly before 9 pm police used pepper balls to disperse the crowd. Eight people were arrested for criminal mischief and assault and weapons violations.

During the arrest Denver police recovered a handgun, bear spray, a knife and a hammer.
